Zen Den at BSA Sweetheart Dance1/22/2019 CSEPAC will be volunteering at the Byam School Association's Sweetheart Dance on Saturday Febraury 2, 530-730pm.
The Zen Den is a sensory friendly play space that allows children who need a break to relax during busy school wide events. Volunteers help to keep materials tidy and share information about CSEPAC. If you are interested in volunteering for 30-60 minutes, please contact a board member ASAP. We'd love to have you play with us! edit: Valentine's Dance was changed to Sweetheart Dance AB

Free Babysitting1/7/2019 One of the reasons people listed in the survey as a reason they have not attended CSEPAC events is the need for child care.
We've coordinated with the Exploring Early Childhood program at Chelmsford High School to provide on site child care. Child care will be provided by high school volunteers working to complete their service hours. To reserve your spot, email Joan Murphy, CHS Exploring Early Childhood teacher:: [email protected] with the subject heading “Child Care for CSEPAC Meeting.” Please include your name, phone number, the number of children you need care for, and the children’s ages. Do not include any other personal or identifying information. CSEPAC Winter/Spring 2019 Meeting Schedule CSEPAC Business Meetings CHS Learning Commons, 7-9pm January 24, February 28, March 28, April 25, May 23* Workshop: An IEP for My Child Chelmsford Public Library, 645-845pm January 15 *Elections will be held at the May meeting. November 29 Meeting12/3/2018 We had a great turn out at this month's meeting! Thank you to everyone who was able to attend. We are glad we were able to support so many families in our community.
Guest Speaker LifeLinks Inc. shared information about their programming. Their services are for families with children and adults who qualify for DDS (Department of Developmental Services) and include finding resources for in the home and community. Survey Preliminary Results The Needs Assessment Survey Subcommittee presented the preliminary results from the town wide survey. At the time of reporting, there were 225 recorded responses. All of the data is anonymous and was collected from families that have children on an IEP, 504 Plan, or are receiving services out of district. Some high lights were:
School Committee Presentation Subcommittee Formed - Volunteer Opportunity!! A subcommittee for the school committee presentation was formed and will have their first meeting on Tuesday, December 11 at 7pm in the CHS Learning Commons. Those interested in participating in this subcommittee should send a letter of interest to [email protected]. New Bylaws Approved A special meeting was held on November 1, 2018 to prepare the bylaws for a final discussion and vote. The new bylaws were approved unanimously with two suggested amendments. The new bylaws will be posted on the website with our documents, "meetings & minutes," and stored in the secretary binder.
